Every project follows the same four-stage process, from initial assessment through to compliance sign-off.
- Surface preparation: Steel is cleaned and assessed for condition before any coating is applied.
- System selection: The intumescent system is matched to the specified fire rating and structural drawings.
- Application: Wet-film thickness (WFT) readings are recorded throughout application; dry-film thickness (DFT) is verified on completion to confirm the specified build has been achieved.
- Documentation: On completion, you receive a full package: WFT and DFT readings, photographs, and a compliance certificate.
