Health and Safety Policy Statement
As Directors of Blue Chip PFP Ltd (the company), we accept our responsibilities for Health and Safety as stated in this Blue Chip PFP Ltd Policy. This Health and Safety Policy has been established and is fully supported by top management, who are responsible for ensuring it is communicated, understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organisation.
Our commitment is to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve an effective Occupational Health and Safety Management System aligned with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018. This is achieved through the setting of health and safety objectives, monitoring performance, and protecting and promoting the health, safety, welfare, and wellbeing of employees, labour-only subcontractors, contractors, visitors, and any other persons who may be affected by its activities.
To achieve this, Blue Chip PFP Ltd is committed to:
- Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, appropriate to the organisation’s purpose, size and context, and to the specific nature of its occupational health and safety risks and opportunities.
- Fulfil applicable legal requirements and other requirements relating to occupational health and safety.
- Eliminate hazards and reduce occupational health and safety risks, so far as is reasonably practicable, through risk assessment, the hierarchy of controls and effective operational controls.
- Ensure that substances and articles are safely used, handled, stored, transported and disposed of.
- Provide employees and relevant workers with suitable information, instruction, training and supervision to enable them to work safely and competently.
- Provide and maintain suitable welfare facilities and working environments.

- Provide a framework for setting, reviewing and achieving occupational health and safety objectives.
- Continually improve the occupational health and safety management system and occupational health and safety performance.
All levels of management are responsible for maintaining safety standards. This will be achieved by assessing risks, removing hazards wherever possible and implementing safe systems of work. Improvements in health and safety performance can only be achieved if there is full commitment not only from management, but from all workers to implement and monitor this policy.
Given this, every employee and labour only sub-contractor is required to cooperate with the company in the spirit and operation of this Policy by;
- Work safely, following the training and instructions given,
- Comply with the safe systems of work and procedures that implement them,
- Report all accidents immediately, and assist with accident investigations,
- Use any personal protective equipment and clothing where it is identified and required,
- Take care of yourself and others who you come into contact with and who may be affected by your activities.
