Craig Blyth

Director, Blue Chip PFP Ltd

Craig Blyth is Director of Blue Chip PFP Ltd and has worked within the passive fire protection sector for over 24 years. His experience spans operational leadership, contract management, quality assurance, and strategic direction, giving him full oversight of delivery from site execution through to board level accountability.

Craig has operated across healthcare, education, commercial, nuclear, defence and multi occupancy residential sectors , environments where life safety, compliance scrutiny and programme certainty are non negotiable. His approach is structured, disciplined and systems led, ensuring passive fire protection works are delivered correctly, evidenced properly, and capable of standing up to audit.

Craig operates with clear expectations around quality and compliance. Work is expected to meet specification and regulatory requirements first time. Strong systems, defined accountability and proper oversight are in place to minimise risk and maintain standards.

Over the years, he has strengthened internal compliance systems, improved operational accountability and embedded structured quality assurance processes aligned with regulatory requirements and third party accreditation expectations. His leadership ensures alignment with current legislation, including the principles of the Building Safety Act and the “Golden Thread” of information, providing clients with transparency and defensible compliance.

Commercially Craig maintains firm oversight across contractual compliance, operational performance and risk control. He does not treat passive fire protection as simply a trade package; it is a responsibility with real legal and reputational consequences. His leadership reflects that level of accountability.

Equally important is people development. Craig actively supports supervisors, managers and operatives in raising competence and progressing within the industry. He believes sustainable performance comes from building capable teams, setting clear expectations and maintaining accountability at every level.

Client relationships are approached with a long term view. Trust is earned through consistency, technical accuracy and reliability,  not promises. Craig prioritises repeat partnerships, clear communication and delivery that reflects both professional integrity and commercial awareness.

Under his direction, Blue Chip PFP operates with clarity, structure and control, delivering passive fire protection solutions that are compliant, auditable and built to withstand scrutiny.
